Tim Venjohn
Tim Venjohn is an accomplished real estate broker and the co-owner of Rhodes & Co. Real Estate Services in Southern Pines, North Carolina. A South Dakota native who moved to the state in 1986, he established himself as a local leader through a diverse professional background and a commitment to community service. Before entering the real estate industry in 2002, he served in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, where he was honored as the 1987 Soldier of the Year for his battalion. He later transitioned into the property sector, earning high-level designations such as the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and serving as President of the Pinehurst-Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors in 2009. His career is marked by significant accolades, including being named REALTOR of the Year in 2014 for his expertise in residential sales, subdivision development, and commercial real estate.
Beyond his professional life, he is deeply involved in local civic and religious organizations, having served on the Parish Advisory Council for Sacred Heart Catholic Church and participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. An outdoor enthusiast, he spends his personal time biking, hiking, and canoeing with his wife and three children. He also maintains a personal orchard, reflecting a long-standing connection to the land and the Moore County community where he has built his life and career for over three decades.
